Play and Youth Club Worker - TARDIS 18-25's (Saturdays) POSITION ON HOLD £8.21/ph
Hours: Working 1 Saturday a month from 3.30pm- 8.30pm
White Lodge supports disabled children, young people and adults, families and carers in Surrey and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for an exceptional Play and Youth Club Worker to support our 18-25 year-old members in accessing a range of age appropriate youth and leisure activities at our scheme called TARDIS. This runs on the last Saturday of each month and the Play and Youth Club Worker will need to be available to support each session. The role requires an individual who can engage positively with young adults, be enthusiastic and bring such fun to the club; ensuring all members enjoy themselves in a safe environment. The Play and Youth Club worker will believe in the organisations vision in delivering a service that is inclusive, diverse and offers equal opportunities.
As a Play and Youth Club Worker, you must:
- Have experience with working with teenagers/young adults with disabilities
- Be able to plan and provide a variety or leisure activities whilst supporting members in accessing the community
- Be an effective communicator
- Have enthusiasm to lead activities and develop the service
